Today, while I was walking home past the Roebling Oil Field, I noticed three kids playing with a tiny black kitten that must've come creeping up out of one of the wells. Being a nosy granny, I asked them if it was their cat.
Nope, they'd just found him there. The kitty was skittering back and forth and so I bossed the kids into to helping me catch him. They were kind enough to take orders from a wacky old broad and even thanked me for giving him a home. I may have to reassess my thoughts on teenagers.
I gave Inky a can of Mabel's food when we got home (note the blob of it on his nose), but I can't keep him. Lucky for Inky, my next door neighbor can.
UPDATE: The neighbor bailed!!!!! If anyone wants a cute little kitten, please email me here!!!
Oh hell! It looks like we got another cat.

Teenagers get a bad rap. Most of them are the nicest peeps you could ever hope to meet. Seriously. Adults worry me much, much more nowadays.
