Bad Advice

Radio! Radio!

Starting this Sunday, May 15, at 2pm, me and my buddy Mike Edison will be hosting a new half-hour radio show, cleverly entitled, "The Mike & Judy Show." It'll be on the Heritage Radio Network, which is an internet radio network that's housed at Roberta's in Bushwick. Mmm, pizza.

We'll be talking sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll and I'm sure Mike will start blabbing about wrestling, but I'll counter any of that talk with menstrual issues, which he'll counter with marijuana jabber and I'll counter with long, drawn-out cat stories. Kidding—we both love cat stories!

It should be fun and I hope you'll tune in!

Happy (?) Mother's Day

To say that my mom and I had a tumultuous relationship would be putting it mildly. I was the oldest child of five, born in quick succession. There was violence, screaming, ugliness . . . and, well, a lot of ugliness. Yet I always loved her and no matter how much she hurt me (and I hurt her), I knew she always loved me.

I hope she knows/knew I loved her.

UPDATE: Oh my god, how sappy and retarded I get after a couple glasses of white wine. But what a great picture of Fran though, right? Love this one.
