Hey, did you hear I have a book out? Yeah, how about that. Anyway, I'm throwing myself a little book party. The day before that there's a reading at KGB, oh and I seem to have lucked into a regular radio spot that you can hear on the off-chance you live in Seattle. Here's the schedule as it stands now:
- 2/12, 7pm at KGB Bar. "Shamu + Sex Night: A V-Day Celebration. I'll be reading with Amy Sutherland and JM Kearns. I love KGB—it's the same color as my living room! I've never read there before and was very happy to be asked
- 2/13, 6:30 – 8:00pm, Knitting Factory Tap Room. It's my UnValentine book party!!! Please come!!! I'll have snacks and cupcakes and though I won't be buying the drinks, it's happy hour so they're cheap. ALSO, I'm having a worst date contest, so if you're woman (or man) enough to stand up in front of some people and talk about your worst date, you might win a copy of my book. Please bring friends!!!
- Every Friday at 7AM I'm on a show called the Ladies Room on 92.5 FM in Seattle. This week I talked to a gynecologist who's freaked out because he no longer finds his girlfriend's ladyparts even remotely appealing.
Sorry to see you didn't get 2/14 for your UnValentine's Day book party, but I guess losing out to Diamanda Galas's Valentine's Day Massacre isn't too humiliating.
Wish I could be there for your events!

I just finished your book!!! It was laugh out loud insanely hilarious!!! Perhaps only b/c I have been on half those dates myself and therefore they shouldn't be funny, but I so felt everyone's pain....
Just wanted to say AWESOME job!
